We are our own worse enemy?

Unfortunately, many people don't appreciate the link between THEIR spending habits and why businesses seek cheap worldwide labor in the first place.

Many Americans own a boat-load of foreign crap - often because they didn't care its place of origin when they were buying it; or if they did care, they chose the cheaper goods, which are nearly always imported because they are manufactured in countries with non-existent labor or wage standards.

The primary impetus for outsourcing is the consumer. i.e. All of us. Look in the mirror before you cast aspersions at companies who manufacture overseas to produce cheaper goods that Americans have shown a preference for by their purchasing decisions.

And shame on those Americans who have suddenly mustered outrage towards companies catering to their purchasing choices.
