The GOP has been a Party of NO! for at least the last three decades (read: reactionary). The only thing they ever seem to be in favor of is tax cuts and wars.
I left the Party after George W. Bush chose to invade a country not related to 9/11 and the refusal of the GOP Congress to be anything other than a rubber-stamp when an (R) is in the White House; and an obstructionist party when the person in the White House is a (D).
I'm not sure why most GOP congresspeople choose to run for office since they claim to hate the very government that they should be working to help function FOR the people.
Hint: Giving Wall Street a get-out-jail-card is not FOR the people; or the myriad of other things Republicans want to tear down to undermine our infrastructure, healthcare, retirement, environment, etc.
